Head of Sales, UK

Permanent Position

Salary: Competitive Base Plus Target Driven Bonus

Location: Central London

This is an exciting position for a driven, intelligent senior sales person with 5 years or more experience of working within the Independent Financial Advisor sector in the UK. The Head of Sales will work on immediately growing the UK business through a variety of channels. Essentially, the role will also involve the following:

* Coordinate and work with head office in Dublin, Ireland in order to establish a strong presence in the UK and to implement growth strategies primarily and initially for UK (with a long term view to European and the international marketplace).
* Take charge of sales activity and drive continued expansion.
* Develop and manage a sales team in the UK and liaise with UK media in order to help with advertising and PR.
* Meet and greet retail investment clients, explain the role gold bullion has in a globally diversified portfolio.
* Develop lasting relationships with key pension and investment partners and actively seek new opportunities for increased sales.
* Work closely with senior management - reporting on and forecasting performance.

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be successful in their career with a demonstrable proven track record working in financial services. Ideally this person will have experience of or knowledge of precious metals or bullion, but this is not essential. A good understanding of general economics and the monetary system and the important role gold continues to play in a properly diversified portfolio will be beneficial. Aside from this, the ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial nature, an ability to think outside the box and be driven toward success through individual efforts as well as team work. Other requirements include:

* Recent experience in management role in financial services in the UK.
* Candidate must be entrepreneurial, motivated, passionate and positive.
* Candidate must have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* This candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to changing environments and a fast growing international company.
* Candidates must possess strong computer and IT skills.
* To be of an honest disposition, to hold the integrity of the company and themselves above all other considerations.

Linux Server Admin

Contract

Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate

Location: UK or Ireland

Looking for an experienced server administrator to manage our dedicated Fedora 8 server.

You will proactively update/patch/generally maintain the server, so that downtime is minimised. In the case of a fault, you will quickly troubleshoot and repair the problem.

Required Skills:

* Fedora 8 (or v. good exp of other Linux distro)
* Apache
* DNS / MX / domain admin
* mySQL admin
* Security (& anti-spam)
* FTP / sendmail / other server modules

You will be employed as a contractor, and will be paid for work undertaken, on a monthly basis, or when invoiced. You will be available by phone during normal working hours (9-5.30 GMT)
